When did we start saying transitioning? What does it mean? Is it instead of spring or Autumn or does it mean moving into spring or Autumn? You'll excuse me if I don't use it for fear of not understanding when to use it. I'll stick to old fashioned vernacular.
So, this week's collaboration with Mary is the Bird Blouse. What? Is this flappy wings? Batwings gone wild? Is it colours of vibrant reds and turquoise in the plumage of parrots? Well no. In our case it's blouses with birds flying across the material landscape, Birds on Shirts in other words. (or alternatively a 'couple of old birds on a wire.')
My offering is this Joules blouse in mint. The design is called 'clematis and birds', or something like that, but sadly it's not in stock now. I did buy it in the sale a few weeks ago so that perhaps shouldn't be so surprising. Anyway I have found a few similar for you to browse at the bottom of the page.
I chose to wear my birds and floral with my trusty black pleather moto, jeans and ankle boots.
I added a swift necklace in gold to top off the avian effect.
I added a woolen poncho on top as the day was chilly and I was taking this avian outfit on a walk through the woods to the pub.
Having layered up for the walk, I then layered down In the pub.
