Tenerife in Outfits part 1

My dear fashionista

As I'm on vacation doing a blog post requires technical ability that I lack . I am typing on my phone and as a result will limit what I write today. Instead I'm cheating and carrying on the lookbook theme of the last few posts . This time I'm going to show you what I wore on vacation last week.

We came away to Tenerife once again and brought miss 23 and her boyfriend.  They had their own apartment and looking at their pics had a holiday i don't recognise.

Motor bikes up a volcano! Their adventure, not mine.

However they did also hire a car for 24 hours and take we midsters  hubs and I up to see the sunset from the top of the volcano and then on to see the night sky from inside the crater of this still live volcano. Perhaps they hoped it was a gaping hole to throw us down.  Maybe we should have been wary.

The sunset was gorgeous. All the sunsets here are fabulous actually.

The moon was full so we didn't see much in the way of stars but did see a satellite go over. Gracefully gliding across the sky.

This shot is just like a moonscape.

In their version of the holiday they went jet skiing .

In mine I went whale watching on a yacht.

Anyway let's get on with outfits.

I wore these harem pants and H&M 2 years ago T plus basket bag. My necklace is made from banana wood and came from this island about 8 years ago.

Below is Boden 6 inch chino shorts for driving up to Teide to see the sunset.

For a cocktail hour I put on a Boden Kimono. The glasses are ASOS.

           Kimono

sunglasses   available in black

The outfit below to go out to dinner is made up of old parts. The dress is Ronnie Nicholl from QVC and the necklace is one I bought on vacation in Crete a few years ago.

A linen dress which is also old plus new basket bag and necklace from Kettlewell Colours.

The dress below is one I wore to a grill night on the last night. Its old from Sandwich.  Bag and sandals last year from Accessorize and M&S respectively.  I like the pop of yellow here.

Here are pics of the setting for the grill night.

Sadly it was time to say goodbye to youngsters as they went home and we stayed on for another week.
