Another Afternoon with Trish McEvoy

This week I once again went to see my beauty guru Trish McEvoy.  I do so love going to her Power of Makeup tutorials.  I have been going longer than I have been blogging,

Trish is known for her brushes and her planners. The vast majority of my brushes are hers and I have to say some are 9 years old and like new still.  As they are expensive I have built my collection up over those 9 years but its been so worth it.

I also have a good collection of planners.  I promise to show you one day.

I asked another client what her favourite of Trish's products was and she voted for
Liquid face UK link   US link . I have to agree that this is a useful product.  It is a liquid blush plus can be used cheekily on the lips.

My favourite of her products over the years are the Line refiner UK link   US link . This is always in my makeup bag (I have 2 on the go currently in different bags) to touch up around lines during the day.

My so far favourite eye primer is Eye base  UK link and US link  . Again I have been a repeat purchaser.  I have even been known to have 2 in my collection, one for summer and one for winter skin tones.

The only items that I bought this time was the Sienna and the bronze eyeshadow in her new formula.   Fast Track is  buildable, can cover the whole eye area in one easy step, or 3 if you want to use all 3 colours.  They are meant to last all day but I think that depends on the lids. On mine these run to a crease if I don't apply a powder base shadow first.

Note that this is eyeshadow in Bronze, not a bronzer.  I have linked the bronze colour but note that there is also sienna and a cream.

What did i wear?  Well I had a work morning first followed by lunch with a bank and then the afternoon off on vacation to attend the Trish event.  I had to build my outfit practically again.  I chose smart everywear trousers from M&S, plus a caramel jacket and a blouse that had a smatter if caramel.  I added sock boots from Top Shop.

    1. You pay £50 to go and then that is offset against purchases so I spent my 50.

  8. This range looks brilliant. Quality is always worth paying a little bit more for and if the brushes are still as good as new after 9 years then wow! Thanks for linking up with #globalblogging

  9. Hello Anna, you look lovely. I love the soft color of your blazer. I have heard great things about this product line. I do like the sound of the liquid blush. I use cream blush and not powder as I like to avoid powder when I can. Love the bronze eyeshadow!
